Due to the iterative nature of devices, this article only covers Apple devices that currently support eSIM, but we will be updating this list every month to provide you with the latest industry news.
Special Note: In order to be able to use eSIM, your device needs to be unlocked (not on contract), i.e., a cell phone or other device that is not locked by a carrier.
If you are traveling, you will also need to purchase a stable, high-speed eSIM product that allows you to access the Internet at your destination, such as the Almond eSIM.
Below is a list of Apple devices that currently support eSIM.

*Apple devices that still don't support eSIM even if you can find the model number in the list above:
-Purchase all iPhones in Mainland China
-All iPhones except iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone XS in Hong Kong and Macau, China.
-iPads without WiFi and cellular capabilities
Beginning with the introduction of the iPhone XS in 2018, Apple introduced the eSIM feature, which enables users to add multiple carrier data plans to a single device. eSIM is also supported on the iPad Pro, iPad mini, and iPad Air lineups, allowing users to activate mobile data plans without the need for a physical SIM card. In addition to iPhone and iPad, the Apple Watch Series 4, Series 5 and Apple Watch SE series also support eSIM, enabling users to independently utilize mobile data on the watch.
The availability of eSIM technology makes it easier for users to switch carriers and avoid the hassle of replacing physical SIM cards. Additionally, eSIM allows users to save on roaming costs by giving them more flexibility in choosing a local carrier's data plan when traveling abroad. However, it should be noted that not all carriers support the eSIM feature, and users should find out which carriers in their area support eSIM before purchasing a device.
Overall, with the gradual popularization of eSIM technology, more and more Apple devices already support eSIM function. This not only provides users with more choices and convenience, but also promotes the development of the digital era.
